Brooke is a 16-year-old who has cerebral palsy. She is also nonverbal and uses an iPad to communicate with her family and friends. Brooke uses a program that allows her to communicate via a text-to-speech feature. Her iPad broke and could not be fixed.

Brooke’s family wanted to replace the iPad, but their insurance wouldn’t cover the cost. HCCI stepped up and purchased an iPad for the family. Now Brooke can continue to talk with her family and friends.
