TOPSoccer is a free, community-based training and team placement program for athletes with disabilities. The program, staffed by local youth soccer volunteers, is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any players, age 8 and older, who have a mental or physical disability, to help them become valued and successful members of the local youth soccer community. TOPSoccer is a program of Indiana Soccer, a non-profit organization for Youth Soccer, who serves around 300 kids in 11 different TOPSoccer programs each year.
This valuable program relies on donations to equip the players with special soccer equipment, like ringing and beeping soccer balls for the visually impaired, larger soccer balls to help develop motor skills, special goals and more. HCCI was able to help each of the 11 TOPSoccer programs in Indiana, by outfitting them with some of the durable soccer equipment it takes to help these kids play.
